The oscillating spindle sander is used to shape and smooth a workpiece with abrasion. This sander is located in the wood shop.
MACCLab Orientation and the completion of Intro to Woodworking is required to use this machine. Those with previous woodworking experience who believe they are proficient in using this machine can opt for a private proficiency test with a qualified instructor.

It might be summer, but we`re dreaming of fall. This little serving board was made in the MACCLab woodshop out of 2 strips of wood. The pattern was hand drawn for each of the 16 pieces, individually cut using the vertical bandsaw, and fit together.
