This power sander is used to shape and smooth wood with abrasion. The drum sander works a little bit like a planer, but with sandpaper rather than blades. It is great for smoothing large panels and removing very small amounts of material.
MACCLab Orientation and the completion of Intro to Woodworking is required to use this machine. Those with previous woodworking experience who believe they are proficient in using this machine can opt for a private proficiency test with a qualified instructor.
