Summer STEM Series- Laser Jewelry 101- Grades 6-12

This course is hosted through Columbia STEM Alliance as part of the Summer STEM Series. It is for students grades 6-12 or ages 12-17.
In this class students will learn how to design, engrave, score and cut jewelry pieces using the laser engraver/cutters as well as learn how to attach the earring hooks and snaps. Students will create a pair of earrings and a leather bracelet to take with them. This is a wonderful course taught by MACC Lab professionals. Not only will students walk away with a valuable skill, but they will also create a pair of earrings and a leather bracelet to take home.
